The SafeUT Crisis Text and Tip Line can offer you immediate help when the counseling center is not there for you. SafeUT is a statewide service that provides real-time crisis intervention to teens right through your cell phone.
The counselors in the 24/7 CrisisLine center will respond to all calls, texts, and chats– about you or a friend/loved one– at any time of day, by offering:
- supportive or crisis counseling,
- suicide prevention,
- and referral services.
They will help you at any time of day with bullying, cyberbullying, harassment, emotional issues, crises, problems with relationships, grief and loss, abuse, and mental health or suicide related issues. SafeUT is a free, anonymous, and confidential service, and can be accessed straight through their smartphone app available for Apple and Android.
If the crisis counselor you reach out to thinks you as the user are in danger, they will try to get you the immediate help you need by alerting the proper emergency services.
Download the app today. You never know when you or a friend might need it.
And remember, it’s FREE! And there is absolutely no judgement. People are here to help you. We care!
